University Under His Leadership

Under the guidance of the Rector, Dagestan State Medical University has continued to grow as a leading centre of medical education in the Russian Federation. Key achievements include strengthening partnerships with international institutions, expanding research infrastructure, and increasing the number of international students enrolled at the university.

The university currently has more than 5,000 students, including over 100 international students from 12 countries. There are 706 qualified teachers on staff, including 66 Professors, 179 Associate Professors, 418 Candidates of Medical Sciences, and 116 Doctors of Medical Sciences — with 74.7% of faculty holding scientific degrees.
