Admission Process

There are five steps to complete the admission process at Dagestan State Medical University. Our International Department team will guide you through every step to ensure a smooth and successful enrollment.

How to Apply

Students can apply online. After reading the complete information on the website about tuition fees and courses, first you have to choose your course. After choosing the course, send us the following documents by email:

Filled Application Form
Copy of International Passport or ID Card (minimum valid for 2 years)
Copy of Higher Secondary School Certificate (with subject details)

After reviewing the above documents, we shall notify you about acceptance or rejection. If you are accepted, we shall issue you an Admission Confirmation Letter within one working day.

How to Get Invitation Letter

To get an invitation letter from Dagestan State Medical University, we require the following documents:

Filled Application Form
Copy of International Passport (minimum valid for one year)
Copy of School Certificate (with subject details)
Cost of Invitation Letter: 400 USD + Courier charges 100 USD

You can send us these documents only after receiving your Acceptance / Admission Confirmation letter from Dagestan State Medical University. Documents can be sent by email or fax — please ensure they are scanned properly and clearly readable.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, Western Union, or Money Gram. Please send us the receipt of payment to confirm. Invitations are issued by the Federal Migration Service and it takes 35–45 days to issue the invitation letter. After receiving documents and payment, we shall send you the Original Invitation Letter, Admission Confirmation Letter, and visa support letter by courier.

Visa

After getting the invitation letter from Dagestan State Medical University, the student should contact the nearest Russian Embassy or Consulate in his/her country. The following documents are required for visa application:

Filled Application Form (fill online at http://visa.kdmid.ru)
Original Passport (valid for 2 years minimum)
Secondary school certificate (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs or with Apostille stamp)
Aids/HIV Test (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
Official Invitation Letter issued by Federal Migration Services of the Russian Federation through Dagestan State Medical University
2 Passport size photos (3.5 × 4.5)

P.S.: In some countries, the Embassy of Russian Federation or Ukraine requires legalization of documents from specific departments. In some specific countries, the Russian or Ukrainian embassy may require some additional documents. For complete visa requirements, please contact the Embassy of Russian Federation in your country.

Arrival

After getting your visa from the Embassy or Consulate, students must inform us about their flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives will receive the student at the airport.

Important: If a student does not inform us about their arrival, he/she will be deported back to their homeland by the Immigration Authorities of Russia.

Admission and Start of Classes

Every student should bring their original complete documents along with Full First Year Expenses or Payment Receipt for complete first year expenses paid.

It is compulsory for every student to be registered at the University within three working days after arrival in the Russian Federation territory.

After arrival, students should submit complete documents and first year charges to the International Department. Staff of the International Relations Office will complete the admission and registration process in 1–3 working days, after which you will be allowed to start classes.

The International Office will also extend the visa from the Home Office. Our International Office staff will complete all formalities so that you can start your classes in 4–5 working days.
