Accreditation of Dagestan State Medical University

Dagestan State Medical University has extensive international relations and agreements in the field of education, culture and research activities with many foreign universities.

The University implements academic mobility programs for students and teachers, as well as developing dual degree programs. The University cooperates with the World Federation of International Education, the World Health Organization and UNESCO. Maintains close contacts with graduates working in foreign countries: USA, Canada, Germany, Israel, Syria, India, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, etc.

In order to confirm diplomas the University maintains a constant correspondence with the General Education Commission for work with graduates of foreign medical institutions, the Medical Council of India, as well as cultural centers of embassies of foreign countries in Russia. The University is included in the directory of international medical education, compiled by the Foundation for the development of international medical education and research, as well as in the international directory of universities and study abroad.

It is pleasant to realize that the textbook "Bioethics" (author Professor I. A. Shamov) recommended by the Department of educational institutions and personnel policy of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation for medical universities in Russia.

The University has established formal agreements with universities and institutions in more than 15 countries. Academic mobility programs allow both students and faculty to gain international experience, while joint research projects strengthen DSMU's contribution to global medical knowledge.
